Montclair is home to numerous entertainment and recreational venues, including movie theatres, parks, restaurants and community swimming pools. This is is a town that offers so much and is also within twelve miles of New York City. There are cose to 39,000 residents. Montclair covers 6.3 square miles. Montclair is conveniently located close to major highways, such as the Garden State Parkway, Route 120 and Route 17, providing a fast and easy commute to just about anywhere in New York and New Jersey

 

Montclair residents enjoy a variety of year-round recreational activities, beautiful parks and an excellent school district. The Montclair Clary Anderson Arena gives offers a skating rink and the Township of Montclair Municipal Building is home to activities for seniors like aerobics. Montclair also hosts numerous outdoor festivities and concerts in their parks in the summer.

Montclair has an excellent public school system. There are eleven public schools in the district that serve kindergarten through grade twelve. Elementary schools include Bradford, Edgemont, Nishuane, Northeast, Rand and Watchung Elementary Schools. Glenfield, Hillside, Mount Hebron and Renaissance Middle Schools serve students in grades six through eight or grades three through six, and high school students attend Montclair High School.
